Obituary of Roslin "Roz" Beverly Sagal

Roslin "Roz" Beverly Sagal, age 79, a 27 year resident of Las Vegas and formerly of East Haven CT, died Wednesday, July 6, 2011. Roz was born January 3, 1932 in Bridgeport CT to the late Moshe and the late Sophie (Backer) Rappoport. Roz was a adjudicatory officer for the State of Connecticut. She was a member of University Women and the Red Hats. Roz is survived by her children Rori Sagal of New Haven CT, Tedi (Nancy Ryan) Sagal of Las Vegas, Marc (Margaret Keith) Sagal of Monterey CA, Karl (Ann Marie) Sagal of Wilmington MA, and Beth (Sal Triumfo) Sagal of Wallingford CT; and grandchildren Caitlin, Kelly, Kori, Raechel, Justice, Drew, Kayli, David, Joshua, James and Elijah. She is predeceased by her husband Arthur Sagal and her brothers Col. Saul Rappoport and Dr. David Rappoport. A memorial service will be held 11:30 am on Friday, July 8 at Temple Sinai, 9001 Hillpointe Road, Las Vegas, NV 89134. Contributions in Roz's memory may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
