Obituary of Judith Carol Smith

Judith C. Smith passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2011 at Summerlin Hospital. She was born 65 years ago to Doug and Eunice Banks on April 9, 1946 in Hartford, Connecticut. Judy graduated from Windsor High School in 1964. She then moved to Los Angeles and began working as a waitress and began her family in 1969. She moved back to Connecticut in 1974 with her children and remained there until she moved to Las Vegas in 1997. Judy was considered "the best waitress they ever knew" by many of her customers, friends, and family. She loved working with and talking to everyone she met. Her big smile, beautiful spirit, and wonderful heart touched everyone she came to know and will be sorely missed by us all. She was preceded in death by her father, Doug, her mother, Eunice, and two husbands, Bradley Hauschultz and David Smith. She is survived by her son, Douglas X. Castillo (Brandy Castillo) of Las Vegas, NV; her daughter Carmen M. Ureno (David Ureno) of Las Vegas, NV; her grandchildren: Sierra, Olivia, Cannon, Zerren;and her sisters: Sally (Eddie) and Carol (Paul).
