Shara Senter

Obituary of Shara Anne Senter

Shara Bronn Senter was born in Skokie, Illinois, on March 22, 1980, and was the youngest daughter of Bruce and Debbie Bronn. She graduated from Glenbrook North High School in 1998 and later from the University of Kansas. Shara was a resident of Las Vegas, Nevada, for over 12 years where she met her husband-to-be Michael Senter.  Shara B. and Mikey were married on 12/12/12. Both were poker enthusiasts and the only thing that made Shara happier than running the tables in the Aria Poker Room were her two dogs Ellie and Tobi who she considered her children. Shara was a proud wife, daughter, loving aunt, granddaughter, niece and a loyal friend to everyone she met over the years. Shara was first diagnosed with Crohn’s as a child and endured a lifetime with the disease. After a life-long battle Shara passed away suddenly on Friday, May 22, 2020. She was 40 years old.

Shara B. is survived by husband Mikey; father, Bruce Bronn (Shanan Jerome); her sister Alissa (Michael) Caulfield and nieces Daylin and Sloane; Grandmother Miriam “Mum” Richman; Uncle Jay (Jamie) Richman; and numerous cousins. Shara is preceded in death by her mother Debbie; grandparents Sheldon “Pop-up” Richman; and Zelda and Samuel Bronn; and aunts and uncles.

Information will be forthcoming regarding a Chicago based memorial service. In lieu of flowers, we ask that you please make a donation in Shara’s honor to the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation.
