Obituary of Alvert David Figueroa

Albert, was 54 years old when he passed away on March 10, 2020 at his home. He was born on September 17, 1965 in Los Angeles, California to Eva and Armando Figueroa. Alvert, was not known to stay in one location. He called many places home, such as Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Atlanta, and Las Cruces. He decided to be closer to his family and decided to make Las Vegas his permanent resident. Albert is survived by both his mother and father, 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Albert was very close to his family, to his friends, and his beloved cats - cuckoo and sugar pie. Growing up Albert, was always the sibling that enjoyed gathering his family and enjoying their company. He loved to cook and entertain. This passion in the kitchen brought him to his career which was in the food and beverage industry. He would always make new dishes and bring them to family functions so we could all enjoy. Albert was good to his friends and employers and they were good to him. Their care and support during his last years, is very much appreciated by all of us. Albert worked hard but he also enjoyed his life. Alvert was very charismatic and charming. He had a smile that would light up the room when he walked into it. His laughter was contagious. Albert endured struggles throughout his life, but always managed to overcome them. His family was his greatest support system and with their help he conquered any obstacles that came his way. Albert was the 2nd to youngest sibling yet was a wise soul. He was very intelligent and knowledgeable. He went above and beyond taking on the role of a caregiver for his mother, which we were all grateful for. We all helped in different ways, with him being the constant support of his mother. Albert was a warm, friendly and caring man who made his mark in the world, not with grand gestures or fancy titles, but by the basic goodness and generosity of his character. He always knew how to make any new contact in his life memorable. He had the kindest heart, the most welcoming hugs, and the brightest smile. He brought such warmth and joy to those that knew him. We will remember his quirks, his laughter, is one-of-a-kind personality, and most importantly his unconditional love. He will forever be in our hearts.
