Shawn Rogers posted a condolence
His baseball games: I would sit in the car listening to his 8-track tapes while he played. He always had Freshen Up gum in the glove box. We always went to DJ's for lunch afterwards. My sister and I liked playing the pinball machine. She would take one flipper while I took the other. Dad would help us with both.

When I was a kid, about 6 years old, Larry had a motorcycle. He let me sit on his motorcycle and I thought "man I've got the coolest brother in the whole world" and I did. He used to tickle me until I'd scream for mommy. I'll never forget our times together. He is with Mom, dad, and Linda now and I will see him again one day. I love you Larry! You'll always be my hero!

Evelyn & Ron Outlaw posted a condolence
I have worked with Shawn, his eldest daughter, for four years at H & B Block, and Mr. Rogers obviouly raised two beautiful women, who are smart, loving, caring, who adored their father deeply. Shawn has been a joy/pleasure to work with, and if she is any indication of what her dad was all about, he would take pleasure in knowing he did well in raising his eldest daughter, Shawn, who will help his family carry on and cope with their loss in a positive and respectful manner. Sincerely, Evelyn Outlaw

My outstanding memory of my Husband Larry is when our first Daughter Shawn was born he was doing a roofing job on the hospital she was born at. He found the window of the nursery, knocked on it, startled the nurse, but she cracked the window and Larry said I want to see my Daughter and the nurse brought her to the window.

I remember the last time I saw him he said "Adriana you are a great artist." and that was the last word he said to me.

I remember being over Larry's mother's house with his sister Pam and he would make us laugh all the time. He was a great guy with a great sense of humor. Rest in peace Larry.

Larry was my younger cousin, by all of two months. We spent a lot of time together as kids, getting into all sorts of mischief. I had not seen him for very many years. Peace to him and his family.
