Obituary of Maurice Joseph Timony

Maurice Joseph Timony, age 85, of Las Vegas, passed Monday, November 18, 2019. Mr. Timony was born July 10, 1934 in New York, NY. He was the son of Maurice and Margaret (Sharkey) Timony. He honorably served in the Army. He was retired as a Civil Service Manager/ Foreman. He is survived by four daughters: Ellen Stayman, Terry Hurtado, Kathleen Timony, and Joanne Warren, and two sons: Dennis Timony and Michael Timony. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Eileen Timony and Daughter, Maureen Timony. Calling hours will be Sunday, November 24 from 2:00pm-4:00pm; 7:00pm-9:00pm at N. F. Walker Funeral Home, 2039 Merrick Avenue, Merrick, New York 11566. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 am on Monday, November 25, 2019 at The Parish Family Of Curé of Ars, 2323 Merrick Ave, Merrick, NY. Burial will follow at Calverton National Cemetery.
