Obituary of Janet Gail Goldstein

Janet Gail Goldstein, 72, of Las Vegas, passed away September 13, 2019. Janet was born July 14,1947 to the late Samuel and Dorothy (Damrauer) Forman. She is predeceased by her husband Paul and her brother Dennis Forman. Janet studied at the University of Toledo where she met her future husband. Together with her outgoing personality and his love of photography, they successfully ran Janet Studios for over 40 years. Over the years she also volunteered for the community hospital, was a member of ORT, and was involved with several charities. Janet was a dedicated wife and mother who enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed everything from tennis to mahjong, slots to shows, and we can't forget shopping! She is well known for hosting many events and of course her fabulous cooking. Her brisket and chicken soup are said to be legendary. She has one of the most generous and loving hearts and will be missed by many. Janet is survived by her loving daughter Stacey Goldstein Maguire, son-in-law Scott Maguire, as well as beloved family, and wonderful friends. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday September 17th at 11:30am at Bunkers Memory Gardens Cemetery, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road, Las Vegas.
