Obituary of Mary Ann Blakewick

Mary Ann Blakewick, age 102, of Las Vegas, passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2019. Born, November 9, 1916 in Scranton, Pa. to Harry O. Buchkovich and Pazia Julia Salanich. Mary was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley; her brothers, Harry and John Buchkovich; and her sisters, Jule Fly and Annie Seraphin. Mary is survived by her daughter, Marilyn Kops, and her son-in-law, Gerald Kops, of Las Vegas, her daughter, Joan VanDervort, and her son-in-law, Dan VanDervort, of Providence Forge, Virginia. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church, 5830 Mesa Park Drive, Las Vegas, NV 89135, on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at 1:00pm. Interment will be on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at 10:40am at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City.
