Obituary of Gerald Bruce Speen

Gerald Speen (Jerry) passed away peacefully at the age of 88. He grew up on the east coast.  After graduating college with a degree in physics, he was recruited to the west coast to work in scientific research and design.  Shortly after he moved to California, he met the love of his life.  They married and had three children.  Jerry and Gloria were married 58 glorious years.

Jerry was a brilliant scientist and savvy businessman.  He was an innovative inventor with over 100 patents of amazing scientific breakthroughs.  After extensive scientific achievements, he completely changed careers bringing his talents to promotions and marketing. His ideas were ground-breaking and unique.  He was a trusted leader and mentor to friends, co-workers and family.

He loved photography, classical music and traveling.  He was an author, and wrote books about sports, marketing and science.

Services will be held Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at 9:00AM at King David.
