Obituary of Frances Ann Smith

Frances Ann Smith, age 85, passed away on Friday, May 3, 2019 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was born on August 28, 1933 in Sioux City, IA. Frances married William L. Smith who was her lifelong companion of 63 wonderful years. Together they raised their daughters Linda, Cathy, Kim, & Sherry, and their son David. They all traveled together and lived seven years in Europe. Frances & Bill both retired in 1994 and started another wonderful chapter in their lives in Las Vegas, Nevada where they created even more wonderful memories. She is survived by her husband: William L. Smith, three daughters: Linda (Gary) DeCoff, Cathy (Dan) Caughlin, and Kim (Gail) Laborde, one son: David Smith, 15 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Frances was predeceased by her daughter Sherry Uhlig, her sister Mary Eckert, her mother Eva Eckert, and her grandchildren Mikie & Janelle McDermott. A private graveside service will be held at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City, NV 89005.
