Obituary of William "Bill" Bergman

William "Bill" Bergman passed away peacefully at his home in Las Vegas , April 24, 2019 ,at the age of 87. He is survived by his beloved wife of 46 yrs., Sherri Bergman. Devoted father to Steven Bergman and his wife Judy, son Bruce Bergman and daughter Marla Bergman. Dear grandfather of Ashley, Mathew, Cameryn, Chas and Shale. Uncle to Sherry Paciello, Sandy Gatlin, Karen Bergman and the late Kathy Christenson. Bill was born August 16, 1931, in Brooklyn NY. His family relocated to California in his teens, but Bill was always a Coney Island boy at heart. He was a proud veteran of the US Army where he served in the Korean war. Bill worked as the VP of worldwide production for Vidal Sassoon for many years, he went on to act as the Executive Director of Temple Etz Chaim. For the past 20 years Bill has been enjoying his retirement in Las Vegas with his best friend and the love of his life, Sherri. Bill was preceded in death by his parents Abraham and Rose Bergman, brothers Dave and his wife Libby, Leon and his wife Toby. He was above all, our rock, our mentor, and our wonderful storyteller. He will be sorely missed by all who had the pleasure to know him. The funeral will be at the Veteran's Cemetery at 8AM on Thursday, May 2, 1900 Veteran's Memorial Drive.
