Obituary of Gerald "Doug" Perkins

Gerald Douglas Perkins, age 67, of Las Vegas died Sunday, April 7, 2019. Gerald was born March 22, 1952 in Kansas City, MO. He is the son of the late Gerald Ray and the late Erma Jean (Ramsour) Perkins. Doug belonged to IBEW Local Union 124 in Kansas City, MO and moving to Las Vegas in 1997, he worked as an electrician at the Monte Carlo, Aladdin, and Planet Hollywood and retired in 2014. He played guitar most of his life and was into photography, taking and developing, particularly black and white. He is survived by his wife: Arlene Perkins; Daughters: Angela Ganschow and Sara Perkins-Beebe; Grandchildren: Tayler Ganschow, Gilbert “Tripp” Ganschow, and Madison Beebe; And Sister: Shirley Houser-Stehr. Donations may be made in his honor to the Cancer Society. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Kansas City, MO.
