Our families became acquainted when I was pregnant with Jennifer. Pam was my Lamaze teacher at the time. She was pregnant with Adam so we had a class shower at our home for Pam. It was so much fun. Time went on and my Jennifer and Adam both attended Hawaii Baptist Academy. Pam and I joined Cheryl Morita at Joyce Lyon’s bible study.
We both attended Faith Baptist for many years. She was always the first one to lend a hand when a project needed help.
I will always remember her for the joy she brought to me personally. Many happy memories. Love and Aloha to you all.
Janet. "

God Bless the Chang family! I love you all dearly. Thanks for the memories. Beautiful Cristine in her pageantry days. Pam was one of the first to join the Bible study in my Lyon's Den 25 years ago. We missed her when you moved to Las Vegas, but our group still gathers weekly. But by far my most grateful memory is your care and generosity back in 2004 when I was very ill in Castle Hospital. When told I might live if I went to Mayo's on the mainland, you not only arranged for my flight, but Pam herself accompanied me on the plane. Now in my 84th year I am enjoying good health and am thankful to be alive. But it is wonderful to know that the best is yet to come. No more tears, sorrow or pain. I will join dear Pam where we will rejoice together with our Lord Jesus Christ forever and ever. God Bless the Chang family. Aloha Joyce

Pam and I had several sleepovers as children. One of the most memorable was the first time she stayed over my house. I had twin beds in my room, and Pam was nervous being away from home, so we moved the beds close together. Before going to bed we were laughing and jumping on the beds when Pam jumped too far, went flying through the air, under the opposing bed, and slide out the other side unharmed. We laughed so hard at the freak occurrence, but it was the sight of my bewildered mother appearing at the doorway after running up a flight of stairs, responding to the thud, that had us rolling with laughter.
Pam and I shared so many laughs over the 13 years we were in school together. While our lives took different courses, and we spent a number of years on different sides of the country, it was remarkable to me how no matter the time or distance when we spoke or met the laughter would ensue, and we would pick up right where we left off as if no time had stood still.
To the end she was my 1st and best friend.

Meeting Pam and Andy when they moved to Las Vegas, we are happy to call them our neighbor friends. Pam had a kind heart, always so friendly and thoughtful, especially with our son who went to Auntie Pam yearly to ask if she wanted to help him with his school fundraisers. She always did so willingly. We enjoyed luncheons with the Chang’s and hearing Pam’s stories she shared of her family, especially her children and beautiful grandchildren. She so loved her family and her adventures traveling the world with her Andrew. She had such positivity and spirit until the end and taught me so much about how to face adversity head on and with grace. A mutual neighbor-friend so appropriately called her “Our Warrior Pam” which I will remember so fondly through tears. Thank you Pam for our friendship, your smile and laughter, your text emojis, and how you said “whatevers.” You touched my heart. I know you are dancing in heaven pain-free and lovingly watching over your family.

So very sad to hear about Pam. What a tremendous loss to everyone who knew her and loved her. I have great memories of Pam...from Lenox Hill to sharing winter houses; learning to ski and playing charades. I remember how excited Pam was to move to Hawaii and such a gracious host when we visited there.
Family meant everything to Pam, and she was a most devoted wife and mother, always so proud of Cristine and Adam and the love of her life, Andrew.
I am so grateful to have known Pam and will treasure the good times we shared.
In my thoughts and prayers. Denise

Pam is truly gone too soon. She had such a positive influence on me and my family over and over again! We remember meals with her at the Changs’ long dining table. She frequently invited us to join them at their family gatherings and made great local food and a killer bread pudding She was like a big sister to me and shared helpful life how-to’s because she had already “been there.” Pam always came from a positive angle and shared laughter in any situation. Rest In Peace in the arms of Jesus, our dear friend.

Our deepest sympathy to you at this time of sorrow. Pam is in God's care now and what better care could we ever ask for her? Now we pray for your comfort in the days ahead. God bless you and keep you in His tender care and love for all eternity.
We will always have the memories of the good times we spent with her, the fishing boat out of Sheepheads Bay and of course the ski house with the dog food. She was liked and loved by all that met her.
God Bless

My deepest condolences for the loss of your Wife. I know that losing a mate can be difficult.
What has helped me is the wonderful hope given in the bible where God will remember our dead loved ones and will bring them back to life on earth.
Jo 5:28,29 Ps 37;11,29.
Imagine the day when there are no more tears of sorrow and death and pain will be gone forever. Rev 21:3,4.
May you find comfort in these promises.

Our deepest condolences to family and the friends who loved her. There are so many great memories dating back to the 1980's of our gatherings...Thanksgivings, skiing at Bogus Basin, Wine Tastings, New Year's Eve Parties, potluck gatherings at her home. She loved to gather people. Most of all she was proud and supportive of her husband, Andy and her children, Cristine and Adams' many accomplishments. Then there were all the stories of her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed.
