Obituary of Mary Lee Danis

Mary Lee Danis, age 83, of Las Vegas, died Friday, March 22, 2019. Mary was born October 13, 1935 in Sedgwick, AR. She is the daughter of the late James Neal and the late Mattie Bell (Mills) Garner. She was a retired Executive Secretary for the City Manager of Garfield, New Jersey. She was employed there for 25 years. She retired to Las Vegas in 2011 to be with her sister. She is survived by her son, Michael Danis, her daughter Kathy Danis Lane, her son, Louis Danis, and son, John Danis; her sister Alice Bates; her eight grandchildren, Sydney, Gabrielle, Samantha, Brittany, Jimmy, Jason, Jake, and Shawn; and many nieces, nephews, and loving friends. A Memorial Service will be held at the Lakes Lutheran Church, 8200 West Sahara Avenue, Las Vegas, NV 89117 on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the Lakes Lutheran Church in her honor. .
