Obituary of Stephen Gary Hamburg

Stephen "Stevie" Hamburg, 78, years old from Chicago , Illinois passed away peacefully on January 15, 2019 in Summerlin, Las Vegas, Nevada. Steve was born on January, 29 1940 in Chicago Illinois to Irv and Dorothy Hamburg (nee Schwartz). A true South Sider, he attended Bowen High School and Wilson Junior College. Steve was still very much loved by his beloved wife, the late Terry (née Serafine) Hamburg. Steve was preceded in death by his wife Terry Hamburg; and Matthew Hamburg . While growing up and living in Chicago, Steve owned and operated the East Side Bootery. He was known as HAM while a Soybean Oil trader at the Chicago Board of Trade. He moved to Las Vegas in 2015, where he became quite fond of his Clubhouse friends at Destination Pueblo. Our family is forever in gratitude to Ms. Arlene Vidad. Caretaker, friend, family member. The Hamburg family wishes to extend thanks and appreciation to Ms. Vidad and her entire family and team. He is survived by Sons; Scott (Anna), Todd (Jeanne), and Keith (Kristin); his brother Rodney (Doris), and his grandchildren; Daniel, Emma and Eric. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, January 18, 2019 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Kraft-Sussman Funeral Services 3975 S. Durango Drive Ste. 104 Las Vegas, Nevada 89147. .
