Obituary of Kevin Gary Jeantet

Kevin Gary Jeantet, 34, passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2018 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Kevin was born August 9, 1984 in New York to Gary Jeantet and Dina Whisenant (nee Cervoni). Kevin was a banquet server at Red Rock for 13 years. He was in a hockey league and enjoyed playing football with his brother. He was a HUGE Yankees, New York Rangers, & Giants Fan. Kevin was a member of Canyon Ridge Christian Church. He did not just call himself a Christian; he chose to live as “Christ-like” as he knowingly could. He always strived to better himself as a man. Kevin had a heart of gold. He was proactive in any situation. He understood the importance of quality of life, loved his family and was the best father to his children. Kevin was extremely hardworking, funny, and quick witted. He went above and beyond for his family and friends and was truly loved by so many. He is survived by his wife, Jade; sons Bradyn and Kymani; mother Dina and her husband Guy; father Gary; twin brother Dennis and sister Jazzmin; his cats Kui and Cry boy; and multiple nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and many friends. He is preceded in death by his stepmother Denise. A visitation will be Monday, December 3 from 11:30am - 1:30pm. The funeral will be held 1:30 pm on Monday, December 3, both at Canyon Ridge Christian Church, 6200 West Lone Mountain Road, Las Vegas, NV. Burial will follow the funeral at Palm Mortuary & Cemetery, Northwest 6701 North Jones Boulevard, Las Vegas, NV 89131. A reception will follow at Red Rock Casino to celebrate his life. Memorial donations to a Venmo account and flowers can be donated to Canyon Ridge. Kevin’s family would like to thank Red Rock employees for giving above and beyond for him and his family. They would also like to thank his friends and family for providing a support system during this difficult time. In Kevin’s Memory, Live your best life, just like he did.
