My mom broke the news when she found out, but I didn't know I could leave a remark. I'm late by two years and I didn't know him that well, but I talked to him at school on occasion and he was a wonderful guy.

My heartfelt condolences, I am so sorry to hear about Jack....I remember his kindness towards animals, one day at the Canyon Gate pool where he lifeguarded, he picked up an injured bird and moved the bird out of the hot sun , he told me later he had given the bird water throughout the day. I was struck by Jack's kindness and goodness to all.....my son (who knew Jack from summer camp) and I thought so much of Jack!

I had only met Jack twice but I have known Janine for over half of my life. I am so thankful that I was able to get to know him better through stories and pictures from you, Janine. I was so excited to receive photo Christmas cards from your family and graduation announcements for the boys, Jack's is still on my refrigerator. Janine, you brought so much joy into my life throughout high school and I know Jack was a true gem with an amazing sense of humor like his mom, a dear heart, and always a concern for others. My heart is broken for your family, I am so sorry. All my love and prayers, Lynne

Alex and I wish to extend our sincere condolences to the entire Sholeff family. We did not know Jack personally, but had a long relationship with his grandparents ,nieces and their families.
When we were young, Baba Milka and Dedo Teddy would invite all of us over to their house on Sunday nights after we got off work. Caroline, Lexy, Alex and I would enjoy swims in their pool on warm summer nights. I fondly remember young Greg splashing around with Carol and Janet. How the years have passed.
We cannot know the depth of your sorrow, yet we can let you know that people from your long ago past care and weep for you at this time of incredible loss.
We hope that your fond memories of Jack will lift you a bit each and every day.
With much sympathy,
Denise and Alex Demetroff and Family

My memories of Jack are at Canyon Gate country club, standing coursed and watching him play tennis. He was an excellent player, even at young age. Thinking ot the Sholeff Family at this time and sending you my deepest condolences.

I am sorry to here of your loss. Jack was one of the finest young men at American Heritage Academy. His kind demeanor and willingness to serve others, represented what kind of character he emanated. He was an awesome example to the younger students. My 10 year old daughter did not know him well but knew him as “that guy who always smiled”. God bless you and your family during this trying time.

Jack was so very special to me. I knew him best as a young child. He loved to tell me stories about his dinosaurs when I'd visit and we would have great conversations. In his early teen years, Jack and I had some great conversations about projects he was growing and taking care of and I just loved him so dearly. What a wonderful life he lived. I'll see him again someday because that is the promise of heaven.

Condolences to you all. I knew Jack at Saint Elizabeth. I remember running around the play ground pretending to be dinosaurs. As I did not know Jack very well after grade school I know he is a amazing man. My prayers go to you all.

We have known Jack since kindergarten. In all that time Jack was to most respectful, kind, giving and honest young man we have had the pleasure of knowing.
Our Son Garrett and Jack had many wonderful and great days together. Jack is the type of young man that you wanted your child to be around. Jack’s integrity was above reproach.
They spent almost every day of an entire summer eating together. They felt so special as the location allowed them to eat in the private dining room. The truth is, Jack and Garrett were usually their only customers and the restaurant would have been happy to kick them out should they have gotten some grow ups in there.
Our hearts, like everyone who ever met or knew Jack for just a brief moment, are broken.
Jeannine, Greg and Sam, we are here for you and care deeply for all of you as all of you have had profound affects in our lives.
Steve, Debbie, Garrett, Adam and Sidney.

Collective hearts are broken over the loss of our beautiful earth angel Jack. There are no words ... none at all that can convey the deep sorrow that we your friends feel. Loosing someone so bright, so gentle so talented and kind is the saddest thing imaginable. What I do know is that God has brought his angel home. He was needed there too. We know Jack is in heaven looking on with love.

To say Jack will be missed does not come close to what is felt. Sometimes there are no words that can really express the pain in our heart, it is then we are reminded that our Heavenly Father hears what the heart speaks. May He be with you and comfort you during this grievous time. Psalms 94:19. Loving thoughts and prayers.
