Obituary of Joan Oxenhorn

Joan Oxenhorn, 81, of Las Vegas, passed away on Sunday, September 30, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Joan was born January 31, 1937 in Brooklyn NY to the late Joaquin and the late Angelina Barnola. She attended night school when her children were in high school and college, earning her Master's degree in Business Administration and worked as an accountant for Cytec, a chemical manufacturing company. Joan enjoyed travel and reading. She is survived by her husband of 58 years Marvin Oxenhorn; her son Jeffrey Oxenhorn and his wife Kelly of Marin County CA and her daughter Janelle Courts of Hermosa Beach CA ; grandchildren Jack and Jessica Courts; and sister Lorraine Barnola of Las Vegas. No services are planned. Contributions in Joan's memory are requested to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Association, http://www.lls.org/. There will be a small gathering as a Celebration of Life on October 13.
