Obituary of Doris Mendiola Duenas
Doris Mendiola Duenas, fondly known as “Laling”, Familian Kabayu, Lålu, Siboyas was born on November 15, 1953 in Tamuninh, Guam. She was called home by our heavenly Father on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at the age of 64. Doris was a resident of Inarajan and Pago Bay, Chalan Pago.
She is predeceased by her mother and father Maria P. & Pedro C. Mendiola, her mother-in-law and spouse Esperanza D. & George C. Lujan, father-in-law and spouse Vicente & Cecilia Leon Guerrero, her brothers, spouses, and brother-in-laws Norberto P. Mendiola, Julian P. & Consuelo T. Mendiola, Juan P. Mendiola, Joseph P. & Dolores M. Mendiola, David P. & Judith Mendiola, Peter P. Mendiola, Pedro N. Ignacio, Thomas R. Aguon, Jimmie R. McDaniel, Vanessa Leon Guerrero, Frederick Leon Guerrero.
Doris is survived by her devoted husband of 42 years Edward Thomas Duenas, her
children & spouse (grandchildren) (great-grandchildren) Debbie D. & Sicinio Ikesakes (Edna Doreen Duenas, Scottie Junior Ikesakes & Kaesha Barcinas (Kaleb, Salayia, Serenity and Sariyah), Shane Thomas Ikesakes, Eden Diane Ikesakes & Juliena Taitano), Edward Junior Duenas & Elizabeth Tedtaotao (Ann Genevieve Marie Chang), Chris Michael Duenas, her loving pet/“grandson” Sox “Pupperoni” Daniels, Jesse Robert Duenas, Julian Richard Duenas, sisters, spouses, and sister-in-laws Emilia I. & Leonard P. Gogue, Teresita A. McDaniel, Jesusa Q. Mendiola (spouse of brother Juan), Chareen G. Mendiola (spouse of brother Peter), her brother Carmelo P. Pangelinan, her sisters & brother-in-laws and spouses Maria N. & Manuel P. Crisostomo, LeRoy Leon Guerrero, Charlotte & Gregory Washington, Jacqueline & Nick Muna, Kelly Leon Guerrero (spouse of Frederick), her paternal aunt Paz M. Sablan, and she is additionally survived by numerous godchildren, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
She will be missed dearly by her family and friends.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 6th, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Kraft Sussman Funeral Services 3975 S Durango Drive Ste.104, Las Vegas, Nevada 89147.
Funeral services on Guam will be announced at a later date.
