Obituary of Miriam Spielberg

Miriam Spielberg, age 88, of Las Vegas, passed away on Wednesday, June 6, 2018. Miriam was born September 15, 1929 in New Jersey to the late Joseph and Dora Rosenberg. She worked for various Jewish nonprofits during her career, most notably as the executive director for B'nai Brith Youth in the San Fernando Valley CA and as the fundraising director for the Jewish Federation's Women's Division in Orange County CA. After moving to Las Vegas in 1989, Miriam became involved with Bet Knesset Bamidbar and the Jewish War Veterans Women's Auxiliary, at one point, serving as their Chairperson. Miriam enjoyed needlepoint and most card and board games. Miriam is survived by her daughter and twin grandsons. She is predeceased by her husband and daughter. Mimi was buried on June 8th at the Southern Nevada Veterans Cemetery where she joined her beloved Jerry. Memorial and celebration of life will be held in Pacific Palisades, CA on Sunday, July 15, 2018 at 10:30am.
