Obituary of Allan Lester Phillips

Allan L. Phillips, age 74, died on Tuesday Feb 13th, 2018 in Las Vegas, NV. Born in Burlington, Wisconsin where his family had a farm and resort, Beckers, Allan was raised in Chicago and graduated from U of C Champaign. After graduating from university, he came west settling in Southern, CA where his love of music and entrepreneurial spirit guided him into music distribution. Allan, his wife of 42 years, Naomi and his beloved daughter Tara Yael, then moved to Israel where they lived for 10 yrs. While there, Allan, continued in music distribution as a partner in an Israeli company. In 1998, the family moved back stateside so Tara could pursue studies in Hotel Management in Las Vegas where Allan challenged himself with a new career, becoming owner of a small business commercial printing company, where his mid-western honesty and strong work ethic continues to inspire respect and loyalty. Allan, son of Toby and Harry Phillips of Chicago and The Neatherlands, is survived by his wife Naomi of 42 years, to whom he was devoted, his daughter, Tara who will eternally be his creative, compassionate, beautiful little girl, his sister Judy, brother in law Mark, niece Betsy and nephew Matthew Wellek of Phoenix, who always helped bring solace when needed most. May he finally have the peace and comfort he so deserved. Bless and thank you Allan, for all you gave us; unconditional love, friendship and enduring kindness.
