Obituary of Michael "Mike" Sinderman

Michael Sinderman, age 75, of Henderson, passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2018. Michael was born December 21, 1942 in Los Angeles, CA to the late Monte and the late Bell (Kaplan) Sinderman. Michael was a founding member and treasurer of the Silver State Veterans Assistance foundation and was a National Service Officer and Quarter Master (treasure) of the Jewish War Veterans of the United States Post 65, Henderson, NV. He spent many hours working as the Veteran Service Officer at the North Las Vegas Veterans Hospital. Helping veterans get compensation for their disabilities. Prior to moving to Henderson, NV Michael worked for a government agency, and had an Insurance General Agency selling health and life insurance. He has also been employed as tax auditor, foreign re-insurance accountant, health insurance underwriter and an N.A.S.D. securities general principal with a nationwide brokerage firm acting as its compliance officer. Michael served in the U.S. Navy, as a hospital corpsman being discharged from active duty on Dec. 1964, then receiving an honorable discharge in June of 1967. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Bettie Sinderman; nieces and nephew Gail Downey, Sue Hyman, Michele Sinderman and Joel Sinderman; great nieces and nephew Sindi Arraiga, Ashton Hyman and Chris Downey and great-great nephew Jayden Arriaga. The funeral will be held 1:20 pm on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City, NV.
