Obituary of Max Fischer

Max Fischer, age 83, of Las Vegas, passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2017. Max was born February 3, 1934 in lower east side New York City to the late Abraham and the late Mollie Fischer. He attended Chelsea Vocational High School and served in the US Army. While in the Army, he received a baseball award. He worked as a bartender as well as an installer of professional kitchens. Max loved baseball and horses and was a member of the American Legion. Max is survived by his brother Calvin (Renee) Fischer; nephew Adam (Heather) Fischer; great-nephew Ronan Eyal; pet Barney; and very close friend Kathleen Kavanagh. A burial service will take place Friday, April 21, 2017 at 9:20am at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City, NV.
