If you go through with a traditional funeral and burial for a loved one, there will always be a permanent memorial to them. You will likely place a headstone on their cemetery grave that has their name, birth date, death date, and other details on it. But when you go through cremation services in Las Vegas, NV for a loved one, there is no permanent memorial guaranteed. Some families want that permanent memorial to aid in their grieving process. Here are a few reasons you might want to consider setting something up once the cremation service is complete. 

Reason 1: To Have A Mourning Location 

You can mourn anywhere at any time, but when you have a permanent memorial, like a tree planted in your loved one’s honor, you have somewhere to go when you want to think about them, remember them, talk to them, and mourn for them. Families who bury their loved ones have the grave to visit. You could have a park bench or any other location as a permanent memorial to visit.

While others in your family may have the same last name, there was only one individual with your loved one’s name and spirit. Reason 3: Honor Them 

After the cremation services are over, you might feel like you still want to honor your loved one in some way or another. A permanent memorial can help you do that. Perhaps you get a garden rock carved with their name on it and plant some new rose bushes around it. Doing something you know they would enjoy is cathartic to you and honoring to them.
