Obituary of Mary Louise Romeo

Mary Louise Romeo passed away at the age of eighty three, on this day of 05 June 2010, in Las Vegas Nevada, after battling cancer for over two years. Mary was born on 07 July 1926 in McDonald Ohio, to the parents of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Rota. Mary was the last surviving member of the Rota family, which included siblings Sam, Nick, Rosie, and Joe. Mary attended and graduated from McDonald High School, McDonald Ohio, as part of the class of 1945. Mary was wed to Dominic Romeo on 04 October 1951, where as a young family raised two children in Youngstown Ohio. Mary is survived by her devoted husband of 59 years, and their two children Pat Romeo and Donna - Romeo - MacArthur. Mary and Dominic have enjoyed the last twenty five years living in Las Vegas, Nevada, where they played Bingo at their favorite casinos and enjoyed the unlimited entertainment opportunities throughout the city. Mary loved to talk to and be with her grand children Michelle Romeo, John and Nicholas MacArthur; as it is the children that always brought her such great joy. Mary will be cremated and a memorial service will be held on Wednesday, 09 June 2010, at Kraft-Sussman Funeral Services, 3975 S. Durango Drive, Suite 104, Las Vegas Nevada 89147. The memorial service will begin at 2:00PM, Dominic, Pat, and Donna appreciate the out poring of love and kind words of condolence to the family in this time of deep sorrow. Mary will be missed and was loved so very much by those that were close to her. The family asks that instead of flowers donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
