Obituary of Tillie Elzweig

Tillie Elzweig, age 96, Las Vegas died Thursday, December 10, 2009. Tillie was born May 22, 1913 in New York, NY. She is the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Clara (Spirer) Biller. Tillie lived a full and loving life, constantly surrounded by family and friends. She loved the company of others and people loved her. Tillie's friends included people of all ages, including the friends of her daughters and grandchildren. In her younger years, Tillie worked as a synagogue bookkeeper and was a member of ORT. She is survived by her daughter, Clara (Jeff) Martin of Las Vegas; her grandchildren, Susan (Bob) Koerner of Long Island, NY, Robert Rush of Briarcliff NY, Marc (Julie) Feder of Aurora, Colorado, Michelle (Lou) Malakoff of Seattle, WA, Ross Martin of Los Angeles, CA and Jaime (Yosef) Haile of Agoura Hills, CA; and her great grandchildren: Jenna, Danielle, Krystin, Michael, Thomas, Brooklyn, and Addison, Boaz and Itai, and Ethan. Tillie is predeceased by her loving husband of over 40 years, Seymour and her daughters Elsa and Bonnie. A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 14 at Mt Zion Cemetery in Maspeth, NY.
