Obituary of Frances Emily Kelly

Frances Emily Kelly (formerly Pierce) died September 18, 2009. Mrs. Kelly was born February 2, 1936 in Washington, DC and grew up in Silver Spring, Maryland. She graduated from Montgomery Blair High School. She and her husband raised three children in Howard County, Maryland, where Mrs. Kelly also operated a day care center for many years. As a volunteer, Mrs. Kelly was a trained facilitator for low-vision groups. Mrs. Kelly moved to Las Vegas in 2006. Mrs. Kelly was preceded in death by her husband Richard Pierce, her parents William and Irma Kelly, and her beloved son Tom Pierce. Mrs. Kelly is survived by her daughter Kelly Leerman and husband Craig Leerman in Las Vegas, and daughter Krissy Pierce of Randallstown, Maryland. Mrs. Kelly will also be greatly missed by her sister Maryellen Kountz of Lake Havasu, Arizona, and her brother William Kelly of West Virginia, along with nieces and nephews across the country.
