Obituary of Daniel James Callahan

Daniel Callahan - age 72 passed away on February 25, 2011. He was raised in NJ and lived there for most of his life before moving to Las Vegas 15 years ago. He is survived by his wife Elaine of 46 years, his three children, Kevin (wife Barbara), Debra, Patrick, (wife Andrea). Loving Poppop to Kelly, Danny, & Sean. Brother Richard and wife Virginia, nieces Roberta, Kathryn, Megan, and Ellen. Nephew John, and brother in law Richard. He served in the US Navy for 4 years and went on to Fairleigh Dickenson Univ. He was on the Dean's list and Honor Society. Daniel worked for 34 years at Allied Signal, which became Honeywell. For 30 of those years, he was the bargaining chairman of UWA local 153. After retiring he was a substitute teacher in Clark County for 5 years. Danny enjoyed golf and a good time, but most of all, enjoyed his family and friends. A memorial service will be held at noon on Monday, February 28 at Kraft-Sussman Funeral Services, 3975 S. Durango, #104, Las Vegas, NV 89147. . .
