Obituary of Claudia Denise Wichinsky

Claudia Wichinsky, 63, a 43 yr resident of Las Vegas passed away Friday, February 4. Claudia was born October 2, 1947 in Monticello, NY. Claudia owned the Mighty Marble Arcade in the 70's and became a major west coast distributor for arcade games, then President and co-owner of Westronics, Inc. She was one of the first women in NV to receive a gaming license. Claudia had a kind heart and was considered a mother and grandmother to those who knew her. She is survived by her children Keith Wichinsky of N Las Vegas, Jennifer Buss and Robyn (James) Hoffman both of Los Angeles; mother Ann (Seymour) Kaplan of Las Vegas; father Michael (Zola) Wichinsky of Las Vegas; brother Glenn Wichinsky of Boca Raton, FL; and grandchildren Brooke Wichinsky, Joshua Miller, Gabriella Buss and Grayson Buss. A graveside service will be held at 11:30 AM on Wednesday, Feb. 9 at Palm Cemetery Northwest, 6701 N. Jones. Contributions to Temple Sinai, 9001 Hillpointe Rd, 89134.Shiva will be held at the Kaplan home on Wednesday and Thursday, with minyan at 7:30 PM.
