Obituary of Sharon Lynne Howard

Sharon Lynne Mead Howard, 74, passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2018. She was born on August 16, 1943, in Long Beach, CA and lived in Las Vegas for the last 5 years. During the course of her life, Sharon was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Sharon devoted her life to family, friends, caregiving and loving the Lord. Her compassionate "Helping Hands," cared for the elderly and their families. Sharon also loved her alma mater, Lakewood High School. As a founding member of the LHSAA, she rejoiced in Lancer reunions and reconnecting friends. She is survived by her brother, David Mead, daughter, Lynis Lehne and loving granddaughter, Sierra Lehne. She is also survived by extended family members, including Vicki Mead, David Mead Junior, Jeff Mead, Gary Howard and Whitney Whiteman. Sharon left a lovely final handwritten note tucked in her Bible reflecting "…Therefore you too have grief now; but I will see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and no one will take your joy away from you." John 16:22
