Obituary of Richard Elmer Reitz

Dr. Richard Elmer Reitz, 79, of Las Vegas, passed away on Friday, March 2, 2018. Richard was born September 18, 1938 in Buffalo NY to the late Elmer and the late Edna Reitz. Dr. Reitz was an Endocrinologist and served in the Navy for 10 years as a commander during the Vietnam War. He had an endocrine laboratory in Oakland CA and then was the Medical Director for Quest Diagnostics in San Juan Capistrano CA. He has a love for traveling and enjoyed visiting many places around the world with his wife, Myrnna. Richard is survived by his wife Myrnna and son John William (Gladys) Spears; grandson Raheem John Spears. A memorial service with military honors will be held at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City, NV 89005 at 11:20 AM on Wednesday, March 21, 2018. .
