Obituary of Judy Ann Cory

Judy Ann Cory, age 75, passed away on Monday, February 26th, 2018 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Born in Long Beach, California where her father owned a floral shop, Karrington’s Flowers, Judy graduated from Bellflower High-School. Judy worked in the floral business with her father; she delighted in designing flowers in a beautiful arrangement that pleased others as she also did with gift baskets at the holidays. Judy later met and married the love of her life, Jack Cory. Jack and Judy established and operated a concession supply business, Fun City Foods, for 10 years in Las Vegas before retiring in 1996. Judy, daughter of Milton and Loree Stock of Long Beach, is survived by her husband of 36 years, Jack, to whom she was wholly devoted, her daughter, Terri Holl Ingram, her son-in-law, Walter Ingram, her 4 step-children, John Cory, Pamela Cory, Rhonda Cisneros-Cory, and Julie Cory as well as her 7 step-grandchildren and 1 stepgreat-granddaughter. Judy’s sweet nature and sense of fun never faded as she gallantly lived her last years with dementia. May she finally have the peace and comfort she so deserves. Bless your heart and thank you Judy for all that you have given us: unconditional love, friendship and enduring kindness. Funeral service will be held at Kraft-Sussman at 3975 S. Durango Drive, Suite 104, Las Vegas, Nevada, 89147 at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 1st, 2018 with a private burial following. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Judy’s memory may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association, www.alz.org. Please let them take my hand and stay awhile even though I seem unaware of their presence. Help them to know how their strength and loving care will drift slowly into the days to come just when I need it most. Let them know when I don’t recognize them that I will…I will. Keep their hearts free from sorrow for me for my sorrow when it comes only lasts a moment then it’s gone. And finally, please let them know how very much their visits mean; how, even through this relentless mystery, I can still feel the love. Amen
