Obituary of Sol Steiner

Sol Steiner, age 91, of Las Vegas, passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2018. Sol was born July 15, 1926 in Chicago, IL to the late Isadore and the late Millie (Lesh) Steiner. He served in the Navy during World War II as an on-ship radio operator and as a radio operator for Air Force Supply. Sol had a career in consumer electronics and owned Call-Tronics in Van Nuys CA for many years. He was an avid ham radio operator. Sol is survived by his wife of 43 years Selma Steiner; sons: Ronald Skolnik of Austin, TX, Sanford (with his wife Christine) Skolnik of San Jose, CA and Leonard Skolnik of Northridge, CA,; and grandchildren Matthew Skolnik, Samantha Skolnik, Lacinda Skolnik and Larisa Steiner. He is predeceased by his daughter Julie Steiner. A funeral will be held at noon on Monday, January 29, 2018 at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City, NV. .
