Obituary of Maria Delaluz Negrete

Maria Delaluz Negrete - 70, of Las Vegas, NV., and beloved wife of Manual Negrete for over 50 years, left our world for her place in heaven on August 30, 2017. Born July 10, 1947 in Mexico, she was the daughter of Mexican parents, Emilia and Evaristo Sotelo. She had a large family of 8 siblings and was an identical twin to her sister, Lula. Maria worked in the hotel and casino industry for close to 30 years. She retired from Station Casinos in Las Vegas in 2012. Maria loved to cook, sing, laugh and spend time with family. Her life was made complete by her family. She is survived by her husband, their two sons, Juan Negrete and his wife, Mira; and Jorge Negrete; as well as her daughter, Lucy, and her husband Rigo; and her former daughter-in-law with her son Jorge, Delamira Barberena. Maria is also survived by her grandchildren whom she so very loved: Brandy Negrete, Crystal Negrete, Jesse Negrete, Monique Negrete, Isabella Negrete, Lolita Negrete, Alondra Negrete, Gonzalo Negrete and Bibiana Negrete. A Celebration of Life for Maria will be held on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at 6pm for family and close friends. The officiating priest will be Reverend Fernando C. Benliro.
