Obituary of Willard Dempsey Lewis

Willard D. Lewis Jr., age 65 of Las Vegas, NV entered into heaven on August 27, 2017. He was born on May 23, 1952 in Eastland, TX to Willard D. Lewis and Naomi Louise Steddum. He worked 9 years for Yellow Checker Star Cab Company and had made many friends there. He loved riding his Harley and spending time with his family. He leaves behind his loving wife of 43 years, Vicki Lewis; 2 sons, Willard D. Lewis III (Christina) and Nicholas D. Lewis (Erica); 3 beautiful grandchildren, whom he loved dearly, Mariah Lewis, age 13; Nicholas Lewis, age 12; Josiah Lewis, age 5; and 4 loving sisters, Doris Canrion, Barbara Grimes, June Crowell (George), Gail Aldous (Andy); and so many nieces and nephews that he loved to pieces. He was a one of a kind special man who could strike up a conversation with anyone, make you comfortable and be laughing in no time. He was a wonderful husband, father, brother, and friend. The world is a sadder place without him in it. Memorial Services will be held on Sunday, September 3, 2017, 3:00 PM at Kraft Sussman Funeral Services, 3975 S. Durango Las Vegas, NV 89147.
