Obituary of Fortunee Benoliel Smith

Fortunee Smith, age 84, of Las Vegas, passed away on Tuesday, June 6, 2017. Fortunee was born Valentine's Day, February 14, 1933 in Casablanca, Morocco to the late Menasse and the late Alice Benoliel. She managed the office of P.B Kaplan, MD for 30 years and was very interested in fashion design. She is survived by her son, whom she raised alone, Joseph Smith; granddaughter Sarah Smith; sister Celine Kaplan; niece Vera Kaplan Diener; nephews Matthew Kaplan and Manasse Benoliel; great niece Sabrina Kaplan and great nephew Bryon Diener; as well as many loving friends. Fortunee is predeceased by her brothers Marcus and Raphael Benoliel. A graveside service will be held 11:00 am on Friday, June 9, 2017 at Woodlawn Cemetery, 1500 Las Vegas Boulevard North, Las Vegas, NV. .
