Obituary of Madelyn Rochelle Nitzkin

Madelyn Rochelle Nitzkin, nee Berliner, age 75 of Henderson, passed away January 22, 2017. She was born December 13, 1941 in Chicago, IL to Pauline and Monroe Berliner. She married the late Jack Sheldon Nitzkin on June 20, 1965. Prior to moving to Las Vegas in 1989, Madelyn was a school teacher and owned a women's apparel store. After moving to Las Vegas, Madelyn pursued her love of calligraphy and invitations and had her own business, Madelyn R Studios. She is survived by her daughters, Ronna (Stuart) Timpa and Barbara (James) Bahm of Henderson; her son, Aaron (Suzanne) Nitzkin of Davis, CA; and grandchildren, Sarah Timpa and Paytin Bahm of Henderson, Jack and Meyer Nitzkin of Davis. Funeral services will be at 10:40 AM, Thursday, January 26, at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City.
