Obituary of Kevin Zaldana

Kevin Zaldaña, 20, of Las Vegas, passed away suddenly November 20, 2016. Kevin was born October 29, 1996 in Orange, California to Ismenia Magaña and Edwin Zaldaña. He was a younger brother and best friend to Lidia Zaldaña, as well as an uncle to Julian, Iseah, and Nathan "Alvarito." He grew his early years in California with cousins Estefania, Carlos, and Edwin. He then moved to Virginia to live with cousins Leslie and Natalie. In Vegas, he grew alongside with cousins Cristian, Sasha, Joselyn, Ronald, Cynthia, and Danny. All throughout his life, his grandfather Alvaro Magaña "Magañita," played a very important role in his life. Grandpa Magañita was his father figure and he cherished him very much. Kevin attended Bonanza High School in Vegas, NV. Kevin was a hard-worker who earned an honest living through his construction job that he loved. During his free time, he loved to listen to music as he gardened. He specifically loved mechanics and aspired to study auto-mechanics. He loved to spend his days laughing with family and friends. Kevin was a very loving person who was always willing to go above and beyond to help those in need, specifically friends. He would take friends under his wing and offer them his own place to call home. He was giving and had solely good intentions towards those around him. Kevin had a contagious sense of humor; he always lightened up the room and made light of the situation. He shared all he had, whether it was his time, food, or home. Kevin loved above all his nephews and always tried his best to be a positive role model in their life. He invested his time to build a bike from scratch with the intention of one day giving it to his nephew. Kevin was always very giving and continued to be so till the very day he was taken from this world. Kevin is now resting with his beloved Grandpa Alvarito. Memorial service for Kevin Zaldaña will be held November 26, 2016 at 11am in Kraft Sussman Funeral Services; 3975 S Durango Drive, Ste. 104, Las Vegas, NV, 89147.
