Obituary of Cherie Louella Zavison

Cherie Louella (Hess) Zavison born March 11, 1963 in Pocatello, Idaho passed away peacefully on October 8, 2016 in Las Vegas, Nevada surrounded by her loving family. Cherie graduated from Highland High School in Pocatello, Idaho in 1981. She attended Idaho State University Vo-Tech in Pocatello, Idaho where she received her certificate in secretarial training. She worked for State Farm Insurance for 19 years in many capacities. She also enjoyed a second career at Hewlett Packard working with a wonderful team of people there for many years. Cherie enjoyed volunteering and helping others. She particularly enjoyed her time with Mended Hearts and St. Luke’s Rehab Center. Her family and friends were supremely important to her. She enjoyed lunch dates, cruises, watching movies, Christmas gift-giving, and spoiling her husband. She married the love of her life, William “Bill” Zavison on June 27, 1992 and inherited two wonderful step-children: Joshua and Jennifer. She is survived by her husband of nearly 25 years, William “Bill” Zavison; step children Joshua Zavison (Lacy) of American Falls, Idaho and Jennifer Unruh (Josh) of Reno, Nevada; Two sisters: Mickie Johnson (Larry) of Vancouver, Washington, and Vickie Bell (Wendell) of Surprise, Arizona; Six special grandchildren: Trenten, Izaak, Kaden, Zoey, Alexandria, and Kiryana. She is preceded in death by her mother Delores (Pellum) Hess and brother Robert (Bob) Earl Hill. Services for this amazing woman will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Cloverdale Funeral Home in Boise, Idaho.
