Obituary of Milton Arnold Meyers

Dr. Milton Meyers, 83 years old, of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away on Friday, September 9, 2016, after a valiant 5 month battle with Acute Leukemia. Milt was born on July 31,1933, and was the son of the late Bernard and Mary Meyers of Detroit, Michigan. He served in The United States Air Force from 1952- 1956. He is soaring in and out of the clouds, looking down on us, with a smile on his face. Milt was The President of The Michigan Optometric Association and the President of Knollwood Country Club in West Bloomfield, Michigan. His other enjoyments came from flying his own plane, riding his motorcycle, playing golf, and playing poker with- and against his very competitive wife, Phyllis. He also enjoyed traveling. His World Cruises, with Phyllis, were highlights in his life. Milt is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Phyllis Mishkin Meyers. His beautiful children: Rhona Meyers, Pamela Meyers Brown, Jeffrey Brown,Dina Fentin Reimer, Eric Reimer, Ted Fentin and Jennifer Krom Fentin His devoted, and very dear sister,Geraldine Bennett. His brother In Law and mentor, Dr. Herman Bennett. His 7 Granddchildren: Seth Michael Brown, Chloe Sage Brown, Sydni Jean Reimer, Morgan Paige Reimer, Jacob Sidney Fentin, Jeremy Aidan Fentin, and Jonah Michael Fentin. His many wonderful Nieces and Nephews: Steven and Claudia Bennett, Laurie Bennett Leder and Barry Leder, Debbie Bennett Rosenberg and David Rosenberg. His Grand Nieces and Nephews: Brent and April Pushies Leder, Amy Rosenberg, Melissa Rosenberg, Lindsay Leder, Cole and Alec Bennett, and grand grand nieces: Brighton Alexis Leder and Brinkley Lane Leder. His extra special cousins: DeeDee(Bambi) and Michael Marcellino. Rest in peace Dearest Milt, Miltie,Papa, Grandpa, tata and O ME. You were loved, and you will be missed. Graveside Burial at The Sharon Gardens Cemetery in Vallhalla, New York, Tuesday September 13, at 11:00am. .
