Obituary of Marriann Phyllis Lisicki

Marriann Lisicki, age 75, of Las Vegas, died Monday, August 29, 2016. Marriann was born June 8, 1941 in Perth Amboy, NJ. She is the daughter of the late Stanley and the late Victoria (Bolanoski) Wolczanski. Marriann went to Perth Amboy High School and then continued on to The Charles E. Gregory School of Nursing in Perth Amboy, NJ where she became a registered nurse. In 1963, she married Les Lisicki at the St. Stevens R.C. Church also in Perth Amboy, NJ. Marriann always worked in the hardest areas of nursing, surgical nurse, and she was a pioneer in open heart and heart transplants in 1960. Marriann also worked in a terminal cancer ward and was also a pioneer and worked in the first cocaine rehab center in Los Angeles, CA. Marriann loved to travel, was a member of Mensa, and a member of Master Gardeners of America as she truly loved her plants. She was a very active member of Christ The King Catholic Community and was a charter member of the local King of Christ Assembly 14144 Ladies Auxiliary. Marriann is survived by her husband Les; children Karen and Kevin; and grandchildren Jonathan, Kelsey, Kyle, and Victoria. She is predeceased by brother Stanley and Jay. A memorial mass will be held on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at 10:00 am at Christ The King Catholic Community Church, 4925 S Torrey Pines, Las Vegas.
