Obituary of William Joseph Piriczky

William (Bill/Billy) Joseph Piriczky was born August 15, 1937 to Hungarian immigrants in Toledo, Ohio. He passed away due to natural causes on July 8, 2016 at the age of 78. He was a Las Vegas resident for over 20 years. His father, Leslie, and Mother, Bertha (Orosz), preceded him in death. Bill took great pride in his Hungarian heritage and one of his claims to fame was creating a Hungarian hotdog that challenges what Tony Packos serves today. Bill loved to cook and was always happiest in a kitchen cooking for an eager crowd. He was a 1956 Graduate of Whitmer High School and was a technician for Western Electric for 25 years. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Helen Antoinette (Coronesi) Piriczky of Long Island, NY -- His "Long Island Lady" whom he referred to as "Lady" because she was the love of his life. William is also survived by his four children: Tamara Jo (Piriczky) Anteau, William (Joe) Joseph Piriczky II and his wife Karen, Barbra Ruth (Piriczky) Crowley and Christopher George Piriczky and his wife Angel . He is also survived by 8 grandchildren: Tina (Piriczky) Walker, Erik Piriczky, Chelsea (Anteau) Noto, Nichole Anteau, Zane Crowley, Celeste Crowley, Haeden Russo and Max Piriczky. He was also blessed with one great-grandchild, Karli Jo Cornett. Services will be held at Kraft Sussman Funeral Services located at 3795 S. Durango Dr., Las Vegas, Nevada on Friday, July 15, 2016 at 3:30pm – 5pm.
