Obituary of Gilbert Gil Fogel

Gilbert "Gil" Fogel, age 94, a 21 year resident of Las Vegas, died Sunday, June 12, 2016. Gil was born April 14, 1922 in the Bronx NY to the late Benjamin and the late Gussie (Greenburg) Fogel. He served in the Army during World War II and was a member of the Jewish War Veterans, where he was a Post Commander and he held the record as the highest fundraiser for Veterans causes. Gil owned and operated Gil's Trucking Company for 35 years. Gil is survived by his son Richard Fogel; granddaughter Alexis Fogel and brothers Seymour and Bernie Fogel. He is predeceased by his wife Lillian. The funeral was held at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City NV on June 17, 2016. .
